Appointments - Same day access

Here at Edge Hill we offer a 'same day access' appointment system. This runs Mon-Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Appointments are available from 8am daily.

You can book the appointments via telephone or econsults. We cannot book specific clinicians due to the nature of our appointment system; however we will try to accommodate patient requests if we are able to. 

The receptionist may ask you to give a brief description of your symptoms, this is assure you are seen by the appropriate clinician. We would appreciate your co-operation and understanding with this matter, however you are not obliged to disclose this information.

Appointments - Telephone consultations

If you have a problem that can be dealt with over the phone the clinicians can call you for a telephone consultation. You book in for these  the same way as the face-to-face appointments. Please make sure you inform the receptionist of your contact number if they have recently changed.

Nurse and HCA  appointments

If you suffer with a long term-condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure or COPD you will be called for annually to have a review. The Nurses also see patients for immunisations, weight management advice and 40+ health checks.
